Billing questions

The details worth knowing

Is there a free trial?

Yes. 14 days, tracked through the FlowReader account entitlement. You are not charged during the trial. It converts into a paid monthly subscription when it ends unless you cancel first.

What exactly am I agreeing to?

A subscription that renews by itself. €7.99 per month, charged monthly to the payment method you give Stripe, continuing until you cancel it. The first charge lands when the 14-day trial ends, or immediately if no trial applies. You can cancel any time from the billing portal in the app, in the same number of steps it took to subscribe.

Can I change my mind after subscribing?

Yes. If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK you have 14 days from subscribing to withdraw, for any reason. If you asked us to start Pro straight away you pay only for the days you actually used it and we refund the rest. The refund and withdrawal page has the detail.

Is there an annual plan?

No. FlowReader Pro is a monthly auto-renewing subscription. Only a monthly price is configured.

How do I cancel?

Desktop, Chrome and Firefox subscriptions are managed through the FlowReader billing portal, powered by the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancel before renewal to avoid the next charge. Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.

What happens to my library if Pro ends?

Nothing is locked. FlowReader keeps your data and every saved item stays readable. Only the live services stop until Pro is active again.

How are refunds handled?

Within the first 14 days the statutory right of withdrawal applies and you get your money back, less a proportionate amount for any days you used. After that, refunds go through support and may be considered for duplicate charges, accidental purchases, or technical failures preventing Pro access. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not by itself refund past periods.

Do I need an account to read?

No. The whole local reading system works with no account at all. An account is only needed for the Pro services that are backed by servers.
