A reader and a browser, on the phone

FlowReader for iOS and Android is in development. It carries the whole reading system from the desktop, and adds the thing a phone actually needs: a browser that is already inside the app that keeps what you find.

The app is built and runs on both platforms, and every release is compiled and tested automatically. What does not exist yet is a published listing: it is not on the App Store, not on Google Play, and there is no public beta to join. When it ships it will need iOS 15.0 or later, Android 8.0 or later. We would rather say that plainly than collect an email address against a date we cannot commit to.

How syncing between devices works

Before you install

No account needed
The local application works without signing in. Every reading surface and content app runs on your device, and your library stays there unless you turn on sync.
Release channel
Version 1.8.5, built from the main branch. There is no separate beta channel yet.
Checksums and signing
Published once signed installers exist. Nothing is distributed today, so there is nothing to verify.
